One of the highlights of the year is coming up with the Iowa Arts Festival in Iowa City this weekend. This year the Iowa Arts Festival celebrates it’s 30th Anniversary and will be bigger and better than ever! 
The Iowa Arts Festival is part of the Summer of the Arts Program and offers fun and free entertainment for the whole family. What will you find at the Iowa Arts Festival? (Schedule below). 125 talented local and national Artists presenting their work. Music by some fine internationally recognized musicians. (The highlight for me is Richard Thompson on Friday night). There’s plenty for children too of course with Children’s Day on Saturday. There’s also the ever popular FUN Zone for the kids and this year they’ve added some FUN Stops for even more entertainment. Rounding it off is the tempting Culinary Row where you’ll find a varied selection of regional and ethnic food choices.
